Reef Art

PATEA POU (Patea, New Zealand)

'Patea Pou' - another beautiful marine-based artwork is underway to be installed in Patea later this year! Corten steel sculptures to be attached to existing poles on the way down to Patea beach. Design work by Patea Area School students – supported by Project Reef Life, Creative Communities South Taranaki and technical support and cutting from Reid Machining and Engineering Ltd, and others in the community who have kindly offered their expertise and time. Huge thank you to Reid's for enabling the Patea Area School students to experience the marvel of water-jet cutting and the technology behind it!
We're always inspired by the photographs we receive of the Patea Pou!
